Position Summary:
The  Art Director role is a go-to creative rock star who will be developing big ideas across numerous accounts. They are responsible for relentlessly elevating the creative quality on all work that they are producing or passes by their desk while inspiring, motivating and encouraging the team around them. From broadcast and social to digital experiences, they’ll be the champion of the big idea and creative integrity every step of the way. They will share their expertise with others and elevate the entire team by being a selfless mentor and champion of work. They are a guardian of strategy and actively work to craft it. And are able to have a persuasive and bullet-proof rationale for their ideas. They will have an experienced design eye and be a life-long learner who expands their skills beyond the traditional AD skill set.

Responsibilities:
  • Develops concepts that reflect the strategy & fit the brand
  • Collaborates with senior writers to produce work that makes them proud
  • Collaborate with other members of the agency to ensure assets are aligned
  • Ensures that ideas are executed on budget and on schedule
  • Participate in brainstorms, communicate concepts and take direction and feedback from creative directors and account management
  • Reviews the work of designers providing coaching and constructive direction and feedback
  • Presents your work with passion and a point of view to senior creative personnel and clients
  • Remains current on industry trends and technology; uncovering new ways to incorporate emerging and new media formats into campaigns
  • Is responsible for managing their workload and timeline and meets deadlines
  • Is able to work with a project management system and other collaboration tools
  • Keeps files named, organized and archived per agency guidelines
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field.
  • 5+ years of agency-side experience developing creative assets
  • Strong ability to concept multiple ideas quickly
  • A keen eye for what works and the communication skills to explain why
  • The ability to collaborate across internal teams and clients
  • A knack for picking up brands’ visual identities, understanding why they work and switching between them quickly
  • A demonstrated passion for and understanding of social media and the digital space
  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and all relevant image manipulation tools and apps.
  • Animation/3D/UX/UI/Video editing skills are a bonus – so let us know if you have them
  • Understanding of standards on all social platforms
