What You’ll Do :
As an Automated Software Tester, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of a mission critical software driven system. 

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Automated Testing: Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress, Pactum, and Cucumber to validate software functionality and ensure high-quality releases.
• Test Execution & Reporting: Execute automated tests and generate comprehensive test reports to identify and communicate issues to the development team.
• Test Strategy: Collaborate with the development team to define testing strategies, test cases, and automation frameworks that ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Continuous Integration: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing and delivery of software.
• Regression & Performance Testing: Perform regression testing and assess the system’s performance to identify areas for optimization.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product owners, and other team members to understand application requirements and test accordingly.
• Bug Tracking & Reporting: Log and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and work with the development team to ensure timely resolutions.
• Tool Enhancement: Proactively identify opportunities to improve automation frameworks, testing practices, and tooling 
• Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of test cases, test results, and automation framework processes to ensure clarity and knowledge sharing.

What You’ll Need :

• 8+ years of experience in software testing 
• Experience with API testing using Pactum or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of behavior-driven development (BDD) and writing test scenarios in Gherkin syntax for Cucumber.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Experience in writing and maintaining automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills to investigate test failures and identify root causes.
• Excellent communication skills to report findings and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
