Job Description

Specific Responsibilities

 

  • Install, calibrate, trouble shoot, and repair pump off controllers which include but are not limited to Sams, Baker, Delta X, and D-jax.
  • Check fluid levels on producing wells.
  • Maintain a data base of fluid levels for each producing well in a field.
  • Perform artificial lift design using Rodstar V 3.11.
  • Perform well analysis including but not limited to problem well analysis and failure analysis.
  • Oversee well pulling and workover operations.
  • Operate and perform minor repairs on model D & E Ecometers.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with PC based computer applications including MS Office applications.
  • Assist in evaluation of chemical programs.
  • Through familiarity with all configuration of rod pumps.
  • Ability to perform electrical installations.
  • Take thermal amperage readings and make recommendations with regard to the necessary adjustments to pumping equipment.

Qualifications & Experience

 

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

 

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be proficient in all Microsoft applications and other PC based computer applications.
  • Team player willing to take active role in team responsibilities.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to learn new skills.
  • Willingness to share knowledge with others.
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously
  • Good safety and driving record.
  • Knowledge of safe oil and gas operations and procedures in mature secondary and tertiary recovery fields.
  • Follow safe practices with regard to oil field electrical installations.
