As a **Security Officer - Armed Patrol** in **Fremont, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more . As a Patrol Armed Officer in the tech/media/telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves interacting with individuals on-site, providing exceptional customer service, and fostering clear communication. This position requires carrying a sidearm, baton, and pepper spray, and necessitates a concealed carry weapons permit. Our team values agility, reliability, and innovation, and we prioritize a caring culture that puts people first, delivering through teamwork and integrity. **Position Type: Part Time** **Pay Rate: $28.70 / Hour** **Job Schedule:** **Day** **Time** Sat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM **Responsibilities:** + Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary. + Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach. + Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions. **Minimum Requirements:** + Applicants must have a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit. + Candidates must have a California Weapons Permit with a 9mm Caliber Endorsement. + Possession of a CA: Armed SP License is required. + Applicants must have an Armed Designation. + Candidates must have a minimum of 1+ years of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military. + Applicants must have at least 1+ years of security experience. + Candidates must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Participate in industry-specific security training programs. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. **Perks and Benefits:** + Health insurance and 401k plans for full-time positions + Schedules that fit with your personal life goals + Ongoing paid training programs and career growth opportunities + Employee discounts through our perks program to your favorite restaurants, entertainment venues, and much more...
