Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong understanding of the construction market. This is a commission-based opportunity for a motivated individual. The required territory extends approximately 50 miles in all directions from the office. As the Salesperson, you will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining relationships with customers through common methods including door knocking. The desirable candidate will have exceptional customer service skills. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple tasks will be essential in driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties:

Engage with potential, new and existing customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions through appropriate methods including door knocking.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of roofing and siding products, procedures, and services to effectively assist customers.
Assist in the accurate and efficient processing of customer orders, ensuring timely fulfillment.
Utilize organizational skills to manage inventory and track sales metrics.
Conduct follow-ups with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance overall performance.
Leverage Excel for reporting and tracking sales activities.

Requirements:

Proven experience in customer service, preferably in roofing and siding contracts.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in math for handling transactions and inventory management.
Ability to demonstrate appropriate critical knowledge is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual abilities are an advantage.
Proficient in using Excel for data management and reporting purposes.
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
