Position Summary
The RN Nurse Manager is responsible for leading and managing the Catheterization Lab and Interventional Radiology departments. This position oversees the delivery of high-quality nursing care, administrative operations, and staffing for multiple nursing units and/or teams exceeding 80 full-time equivalents (FTEs) on a 24-hour basis. The role requires collaboration with physicians, clinical specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes in advanced stroke and cardiac care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and operational oversight for Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology services.
Ensure high-quality patient care and compliance with evidence-based standards.
Manage staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and performance evaluations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
Promote a patient-focused and team-oriented culture.
Ensure adherence to all healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.

Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Nursing.
Active California Registered Nurse License (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
Current National Provider BLS certification (American Heart Association).
California Fire and Life Safety Card (within 30 days of hire).
Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical experience in an acute care setting.
Preferred / Additional Requirements
Minimum of 1 year nursing leadership experience (examples: RN Supervisor, Assistant Nurse Manager, Nurse Manager).
Experience in Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology strongly preferred.
Additional certifications as required by specialty area (e.g., NRP for specific units within specified timeframes).
