Under the supervision and direction of the Staff Services Manager I and Registrar of Charitable Trusts, the incumbent performs a full range of complex and varied analytical and technical work related to the dissolution of California nonprofit corporations and the distribution of remaining assets. May act as a lead-person over the Office Technicians in the Dissolution Unit, which entails the distribution of work, monitoring workload, setting priorities, training staff on dissolution functions/process, and developing goals and statistics for the dissolution program. Duties require considerable creative initiative, the ability to perform independently, the ability to effectively work with officers of nonprofit corporations, internal and external counsel, and internal and external auditors. The ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, and develop positive working relationships with a wide variety of internal and external contacts is essential.
