Through the implementation of the 2021–2026 Action Plan for and with Indigenous Peoples , the UdeS is formalizing a series of commitments aimed at strengthening its ability to support the academic success of Indigenous students and to welcome and recognize Indigenous knowledge and cultures on its campuses and within its teaching, research, and community service missions. Through coordinated actions based on collaboration with Indigenous partners, the UdeS is committed to creating a socially and culturally safe environment where the realities and challenges faced by Indigenous peoples are understood, in order to promote their well-being, support their full development, and contribute to a more inclusive and just society.
