Position Summary:
AllianceChicago is looking for an impactful Product Owner of Population Health & Value-Based Care (PO of

PH & VBC) to oversee the development of data analytics, care coordination, and patient engagement features
leveraging its existing health information technology ecosystem to support care delivery across more than 80
Community Health Centers nationally. We are seeking an individual who possesses a deep knowledge of the
population health and value-based care data & analytics ecosystem and market along with the technologies that
support it. The individual will work with internal teams and external partners to design and configure a
comprehensive primary outpatient care-based HIT ecosystem with features and functionality to support Population
Health and Value-Based Care.
As the PO of PH & VBC, you help develop the product vision, product strategy, and product roadmaps that take
advantage of our unique capabilities and assets, and leverage customer research to identify market opportunities.
The ideal candidate is a leader who engages and empowers a team in their work, makes data-driven decisions,
and works to ensure our product direction serves the overall company vision



Essential Duties:

  • Spearhead the PH & VBC product portfolios strategy, formation, execution, and performance.
  • Evaluate market trends and competitive strategies to provide recommendations.
  • Create a structure that enables the product team to leverage inputs from User Centered Design,

Engineering, Clinical, and Sales, in order to measure AC products more effectively and holistically within
the product life cycles.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define, refine, and improve the PH & VBC product vision, value
proposition & roadmap.
  • Development and operationalization of a product roadmap for when changes in latest state or federal
guidance occur.
  • Continuously review and update the product roadmap, PHM data framework or other tools as needed.
  • Create and oversee a process that is guided toward a scalable product portfolio that will in turn impact

product useability.

  • Oversee Product Management teams in building great outcomes that deliver sustainable value to the

customer and prove the feasibility of the product and its ability to meet business needs.

  • Responsible for managing, driving, and providing direction to the product teams to ensure their success

and professional development through ongoing learning and development.

  • Remain up-to-date on privacy and security changes that impact product development.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.








Education/Training/Experience:
• Previous relevant managerial and leadership experience with the ability to influence and motivate others

and guide successful product management teams. Previous PO experience strongly preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in a healthcare-related position and/or Bachelors' Degree in a health-related field

or Business Administration or equivalent combined experience.

  • 5+ experience working with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs)
  • 5+ years experience with Population Health Solutions including a detailed understanding of HIT

functionality and features sets that are necessary for high-performing Population Health Care Teams.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on partnership/customer focus.
  • Understanding and experience analyzing numerous product metrics, both qualitative and quantitative.
  • Familiarity with and proven experience working cross-functionally with numerous business functions such

as Marketing, Engineering, Sales, etc.

  • Possess a data-driven yet creative mindset that is oriented towards solving problems.
  • Experience with international development teams and management of vendor relationships.
  • Excellent communicator in written and verbal form.
  • Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity.
  • Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives.
  • Experience with budget management.
  • Consulting experience with a focus on operations management.
  • Proven success in a project coordination role.
  • Nimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutions.
  • Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication.

Working Conditions:
• General office setting, extensive desk work at computer terminal.

  • May be required to lift, carry, bend, reach and stand with parcels up to 25 lbs.
  • Will work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
