As a recognized Breast Center of Excellence, we are committed to delivering exceptional care and support to those we serve. **Position Overview: Radiology Technologist (Mammography Technologist)** Under the direction of the Radiologist, the Radiology Technologist (Mammography Technologist) performs a variety of digital mammography procedures, including screening and diagnostic exams, wire localizations, galactography, biopsy procedures, DEXA exams, and quality control. The Radiology Technologist (Mammography Technologist) ensures high-quality care is provided to the patient while meeting the needs of the organization, regulatory agencies, physicians, and staff. A working knowledge and experience in Digital Mammography, sterile technique, and documentation and record-keeping are essential for success in this role. This position requires the ability to work independently, provide excellent patient care and communication, and demonstrate a commitment to our Core Values. **Qualifications** **Requirements:** + Minimum 5 years prior experience as a Radiologic Technologist. + Current CA Radiology Technologist license + Current Mammographic Permit + Current BLS Certification + Digital Training Documentation + Graduate of an AMA accredited Radiologic Technology Program + Must provide documentation of Digital Mammography Tomo training (8 hrs) Mammography Experience (200 exams in previous 24 months) and Mammography Continuing Education (15 hrs in previous 36 months). + Able to operate radiologic equipment + Good communication and patient care skills. **Preferred:** + ARRT Certificate + IV Certification + Associates Degree **Overview** St. Josephs Medical Center 's **Outpatient Women Imaging Center** is a member of Dignity Health.
