We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Food Runner/Expo to join our team and help deliver outstanding service to our guests.

Position Summary:
The Food Runner/Expo plays a crucial role in our restaurant's operations by ensuring that food is expedited efficiently and delivered to the correct tables in a timely manner. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will serve as a key link between the kitchen and dining area, ensuring that our guests receive their orders accurately and promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Expedite Orders: Efficiently manage the flow of food from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring that all dishes are delivered promptly and in proper sequence.
• Deliver Food: Accurately deliver food and drinks to guests' tables, ensuring that each order corresponds to the correct table and guest.
• Manage Food Tickets: Read and interpret food tickets to ensure accurate order delivery and communicate any special requests to the kitchen staff.
• Prep Plates: Assist in preparing and garnishing plates as needed, ensuring all food is presented beautifully and meets our restaurant standards.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the food running area clean and organized, including clearing tables of used dishes and assisting with overall restaurant cleanliness.
• Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure smooth operations and a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Provide Excellent Service: Exhibit a friendly and professional demeanor, addressing guest needs and inquiries with a positive attitude.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy trays or plates as needed.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
