Job Description

Why This Role Exists

We’re looking for a Creative Campaign Manager to lead big, original marketing campaigns that show government teams there’s a better way to work. No more paper. No more clunky PDFs. Just modern workflow automation that actually makes their jobs easier.

You’ll be the one shaping and shipping campaigns that move people from interest to action. Whether it’s a digital push on LinkedIn, a creative email series, or a story-driven video, you’ll help us make the case for change: ditch the paper, move faster, and serve constituents better.

This is a creative strategy and execution role that reports directly to the VP of Marketing. You’ll write, direct, pitch, and lead—not just manage timelines. You’ll work closely with our product marketing manager, and with writers, designers, and freelancers who help bring your ideas to life.

What You’ll Be Doing

Build Campaigns That Make People Pay Attention

  • Create and run campaigns across LinkedIn, email, digital ads, webinars, and more
  • Come up with strong ideas and turn them into a full set of assets—ads, headlines, scripts, emails, landing pages, follow-ups, and social posts
  • Show government teams what’s possible with SimpliGov: forms that are fast, signatures that are digital, and workflows that finally flow

Write and Shape Messaging

  • Write or edit campaign copy that’s clear, confident, and made for busy government professionals
  • Keep everything on-message, from the first headline to the last CTA—whether it’s written by you or a freelancer

Launch Campaigns Across the Right Channels

  • Make sure our best work shows up where it matters
  • Build creative for pre-event, launch, and post-campaign follow-up, helping keep momentum going after someone clicks, downloads, or attends

Turn One Great Idea Into Many

  • Stretch strong ideas across formats—short-form video, social carousels, thought leadership, nurture sequences, event themes, and more
  • Help us say one thing in ten smart ways, not ten things with one asset

Be a Force Multiplier

  • Use AI and agents to draft, remix, personalize, and accelerate your work across channels
  • Work with trusted freelancers and creative partners to scale production without compromising quality
  • Find smart ways to test ideas, evolve assets, and move quickly without getting bogged down
  • Make a big impact as a single contributor—because one great marketer is better than five mediocre ones

You’ll Be a Great Fit If You Have

  • 2+ years of experience planning, executing, and optimizing SaaS B2B or B2G marketing campaigns across multiple channels—email, social, webinars, paid digital, etc.
  • A copywriting background—you’ve written high-converting campaign assets (ads, emails, landing pages, CTAs), and you know how to turn a message into a story.
  • A track record of campaigns that drove results—meetings booked, pipeline generated, or key engagement metrics that led to sales conversations.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, product marketing, and/or customer success, and you're comfortable aligning campaign ideas with go-to-market priorities.
  • A doer’s mindset—you’ve launched fast, iterated quickly, and used AI or automation tools to scale execution and accelerate creative production.
  • Comfort working as a solo contributor or creative lead, owning both strategy and execution (not just delegating or overseeing others’ work).

Bonus Points If You Have...

  • Experience building campaigns for state or local government audiences—or strong interest in learning what makes public sector personas tick
  • Familiarity with enterprise sales cycles, including support for ABM or multi-threaded deals
  • Hands-on use of AI platforms like ChatGPT, Jasper, or Copy.ai to remix creative, personalize outreach, or speed up content creation
  • A successful LinkedIn campaign track record—especially if you’ve cracked the code on engagement and conversion
  • Collaborated closely with a product marketer to bring positioning to life through creative concepts, campaign themes, or narrative-driven assets
  • Created follow-up or nurture experiences that helped turn event attendees into sales conversations
