Job Summary

We are looking for individuals to join our client’s team as Clerical Assistant. As part of the team, you will be responsible for office-related activities, patient registration, greeting clients, and performing routine tasks appropriate to your duties.

Job Description

• Clerical work, including filing, data entry, reception work, schedule meetings, typing and preparing correspondence, indexing, operating office equipment (fax, computer, photocopier), and other clerical functions.
• 50 keystrokes per minute, Microsoft Office knowledge intermediate level.
• Interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Performs data entry and general clerical duties.
• Maintains professional demeanor. Liaisons with nurses, physicians and staff.
• Ability to interact with patients all day.

Skills Required

• Two years of experience
• EPIC experience
• Admin experience
• Medical Background (will be scheduling patients and calling patients)
• Excel

Education/Training/Certifications

• High School Diploma/ GED
• Prior medical office experience and knowledge of medical terminology preferred

Additional Requirements

• Part time position
• Shifts: Monday& Tuesday (9-5 pm) Thursday (1-5 pm) Friday (9-1 pm)

Pay Rate

• $25.00 per hour
