Job Description

The Automotive Accounting Clerk performs a variety of general accounting and clerical support tasks related to contracts, dealer trades. reconciling statements, receptionist backup and cross train with other desks to ensure proper coverage at all times.

  • Vehicle inventory postings and schedule review.
  • Requesting, receiving, and sending MSO’s as needed.
  • Pay flooring daily for traded vehicles.
  • Works closely with Contract Clerks to meet deadlines and prioritize work.
  • Cross training with other desks to ensure proper coverage at all times.
  • Receipting in deposits.
  • Reconciling schedules ensuring payments are posted correctly and communicating with department managers when accounts are past due.
  • Assist with breaking down deals for scanning.
  • Scanning dealer trades and wholesales.
  • Filing dealer trades once all documents are accounted for.
  • Reception backup.
  • Meet month end deadlines, working overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Computer skills, specifically Excel a plus, typing skills, proper email etiquette.
  • Organized workspace.
  • Entry Level - willing to train.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Prior data entry experience a PLUS!
  • Must have a Positive Team Spirit!
  • Must possess excellent organization skills.
  • Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
  • Must have good work ethics including maintaining a neat work area.
  • Good attendance required.
